A New Approach for CIS and Eastern European Countries

On behalf of the Sustainable Society Foundation Geurt van de Kerk and Ciprian Popivici contributed to this conference. They presented the Sustainable Society Index – SSI – and focused on the results for CIS and Eastern European countries. Furthermore they elucidated the project Romania , on its way to a sustainable society : the development and introduction of a tailor-made index for Romania , SSI-Romania-2008, on national level as well as on regional level.
