Policies and programmes for sustainable regional development in Romania

The conference was organised within the framework of our project and had as main goal to open a debate upon the regional development issues in Romania. During the conference, the new RSSI-Romania-2009 was launched. This new index represents a full analysis of the Romanian regions from the perspective of sustainability.

The conference gathered together a large group of interested persons. Among the participants there were the representatives of national, regional and local environmental authorities, business sector and civil society representatives.
